The FSA of Texas will soon be scream, kicking and thorowing a fit if this makes the final vote in the Texas House.
The Texas Senate has passed a bill to drug test some welfare applicants and cut off drug users from receiving money.
The bill by Sen. Jane Nelson, a Flower Mound Republican, covers adults applying to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, which provides poor people with money for food, clothing, housing and other basic needs.
God, I hope that this one get's passed. We need some common sense laws. The same legislature is failing us on so many fronts.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many will fail the test? Civil unrest may start from this.
