Anti-Gun Brady Bunch Sherriff Arrested for Dealing Meth

One of the reasons I am so opposed to the government being involved in your Second Amendment rights is that it takes the power away from you and puts it in their hands.

In the hands of people like the former Republican Sheriff of Arapahoe County, Patrick Sullivan.

Sullivan made a habit of helping out groups like the Brady Campaign when it came to preventing law-abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights.

He even testified before Congress for Handgun Control in favor of the Brady bill, and in the State Capitol against any concealed carry reform.

During his 18-year tenure as Arapahoe County Sheriff, Sullivan was a poster boy for big government and was bestowed the title of national “Sheriff of the Year” in 2001 for his efforts at infringing your rights – even at a national level.

Whenever she needed him, Sarah Brady trotted out Sheriff Sullivan as a token Republican who wanted to impose gun control on America — and it worked.

Our nation still lives under the insidious scheme of the Brady Act (which, incidentally, violates the Constitutional prohibition of infringing on the right to keep and bear arms).

Sheriff Sullivan was also famous for trying to buy off local gun rights activists with a “buddy” concealed carry permit (when permits were almost impossible to acquire).

In 1995 Sullivan offered me a permit, attempting to buy my inactivity in the battle for concealed carry in Colorado. It didn’t work. I literally told Sheriff Sullivan where to stick his permit, and continued to work to change Colorado’s law.

On Tuesday Sullivan was arrested for dealing meth to a man for… Well, let’s just say it was for things I would rather not repeat.

That’s right; a power-hungry sheriff intent on taking your freedoms turned out to be a drug-dealing, male prostitute-seeker.

Former Sheriff Sullivan is now sitting in the Patrick J. Sullivan Jr. Detention Facility. That’s right. He’s sitting in the jail named for his honor.

And this is the kind of person the Brady Campaign champions and uses to testify as an “expert”? I would like to tell you that I’m shocked, but you’re smart enough to know better. This is why I am always skeptical of any politician who seeks more control, not less. They are out for personal gain and they will get it at your expense.

In the case of Sheriff Sullivan, I can personally say I’ve witnessed him trampling on your rights for years. Sheriff Sullivan was one of the main obstacles to passing concealed carry in Colorado. Yet apparently the anti-gun crowd thinks men like this should set a standard for who can own a gun and who can’t.

While this may be dismissed by some as just another corrupt cop, the fact is that he has been personally involved in the fight against your Second Amendment rights. And he was successful at it.

It’s pure travesty of justice that a man like Sullivan could be given such authority to prevent you from your own rights, but without standing up to power, it’s like I said at the beginning – it corrupts.

I make it my pledge to you, the gun owner, to stand up against jack-booted thugs like Patrick Sullivan at every turn, regardless of position or party affiliation.

Bay City, Tx-Man Shoots 4 children and Mother

What posses people to kill their own children?  This is something I can not fathom.

I presume this seems to be a growing trend and its a reflection of how society views what being a parent is.

This really bothers me.

All four children who, along with their mother, were shot by their father at a Bay City home Wednesday afternoon have died, police said Thursday.


Two of the boys, ages 3 and 5, died Thursday morning. The other two children, ages 2 and 4, were on life support, but died later in the day. The mother, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was in critical condition in a Houston hospital.

Investigators say the victims’ father, 24-year-old Jose Avila, shot the kids in the head before turning the gun on himself at their mobile home in the 2700 block of 10th Street around 3:15 p.m.

Officers said Avila was dead at the scene. The four kids and the mother were rushed to Matagorda Regional Hospital, where the mother underwent surgery Wednesday afternoon.

The four children were airlifted from Matagorda Regional to Houston hospitals late Wednesday, where they died. Police said the mother, identified by friends as Laura Gonzales, was airlifted to an unnamed hospital in Houston on Thursday.

Mothers, Acting As ‘Agents,’ To Defy FDA Warning

On December 8, a group of mothers and others will defy the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) ban on “distributing” fresh milk across state lines by transporting 100 gallons of raw milk from Wisconsin to Chicago’s Independence Park and distributing it to customers waiting at the park. Rally time is 11:30am – 2:00pm.

Federal law 21 CFR § 1240.61 prohibits interstate movement and distribution of raw milk for human consumption. The FDA regulation applies to individuals, or “agents” acting on their behalf.

Over the past year, the FDA and state authorities have conducted undercover sting operations on, raided and prosecuted farmers, buying clubs, and individuals who help distribute raw milk and other farm fresh foods.

Over a dozen people and businesses currently face charges, orders, and other enforcement actions; some are under “federal criminal investigation” and face possible indictment by a grand jury. Several small cheese producing dairies with no history of making anyone sick have been put out of business by the FDA’s actions.

“It is a God-given, inalienable right to engage in direct, private transactions with our food producers,” says Max Kane, director of a Chicago area local-food-buying club.  “Americans deserve to know that the FDA is using their tax dollars to target and prosecute independent, peaceful, farmers and their customers.”

Coming in from work I hit my last stoplight and traffic came to a screeching halt, the reason being about 20 OWS protesters waving signs, disrupting traffic, throwing hissy fits and generally misbehaving.

I saw a sign that said "We are the 99%" and I was thinking Let's see, Modesto has 200,000 people in it and they've got 20 protesters. That's a far cry from 99%.

Anyways, there's this one hippie, great big motherfucker about 6' 5", crossing the street back and forth waving his sign and holding up traffic, so I yelled at him to go find a fucking job and let me get home from mine.

He responds with "Shut the fuck up and go pay your taxes" and I came back with "I do."
"And what do you get from that?" he yells.

"Self respect, you cocksucker. Try it sometime."

Then this dumb, stupid sonofabitch, walks out into traffic, comes over to my truck and then lays his hands on my door and starts to say something.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I gassed him. I hit him full in the face with a looooong blast of pepper spray. I mean, I leaned out the window and followed him all the way to the ground with it.

He hit the ground and started rolling around crying like the little bitch he was, but he wasn't getting much sympathy. Horns and cheers erupted all around.

Just as the light changed I leaned out and told the fucking hippie "Better get used to that shit son, if you want to be a real revolutionary."

Now check this out: I didn't try to get away, I didn't try to hide, I just drove home. The law has yet to arrive, and it's been over an hour, so I'm guessing that not a single soul got my licence plate and turned me in.

Stupid fuckers, thinking they're going to get sympathy from people that are out busting their asses for a living by holding them up from getting home where they can relax, have a drink or smoke a joint and try to forget about their day.

Well, the driver on the left was 23 and called his parents immediately. As soon as we placed him in cuffs his mom started screaming to go to the hospital. So we sent him to the hospital and decided to cut the other guy loose due to the kid not going to jail. Warrants are being issued for both of their arrests now.

We recieved [sic] a 911 call (from a witness) saying that a major accident just accused and the other corvette was attempting to leave the scene. And the other vette wasn’t drivable. Due to it being a major accident, we have to investigate.
So there’s probable turkey number one, being bailed out by his mom. Despite being completely irresponsible and likely getting arrested, I just have this bad feeling (from experience) he may get his C5 back.

Wanna hear something funny? I first read about the concept of OODA loop in your blog a few years back. 

Anyway, I have a seven year old boy who is interested in, of all things, strategy. 

Particularly military strategy. So I had recently explained the concept and definition of the OODA loop to him. Meanwhile, he has spelling tests each week in school. 

And recently, I found the source of the words the teacher is using, and let him study each week's words in advance over the weekend - ensuring a perfect score Monday morning. 

Anyway, the teacher noticed that he was suddenly getting 100%, and she asked him what had changed. 

His reply (which caused the teacher to call me - she was a bit alarmed) was "I got inside your OODA loop; that's what happened"...

A couple in a North Texas community is under siege by the Gestapo group known as Remuda Ranch Estates Homeowners Association.

It seems that they put up the above yard sign and the President of the HOA is a pResident obama 1st class ass licker and a supporter of the Dallas OWS .

Well he got his thong wedged up in his ass over the sign..  And then gets his bestest friend crooked judge to really lay it on them with a $7k fine.

The more digging we do into this story, the more questions arise:

• Is a squabble over a small yard sign that has been associated with Glenn Beck really about enforcing the rules of the local Homeowners Association or is it politically motivated?

• If the Judge in the case has ties to one side of the argument, why has she not recused herself?

The Judge who levied the huge fine has ties to at least one of the board members of the complaining HOA. These photos used to live on the Facebook page of  Kathy Kornegay Chruscielski (HOA board member and personal friend of the Judge Lynn Marie Johnson).

Now it gets deeper.

When the house was purchased, Clare & Tommy Russel were not aware of a HOA nor did they pay the extortion $$$ called dues.  The cherry on this is they ave documented from the deal.

Boy this all all the makings for a made for TV show.

17 Suspended From Plant That Makes Military Parts After Video Allegedly Shows Workers Drinking, Smoking Marijuana

Seventeen workers from the Tower Defense and Aerospace plant in Detroit have reportedly been suspended after an undercover investigation showed them smoking what appeared to be marijuana during their lunch break.

Fox affiliate WJBK-TV released exclusive footage last week showing several of the plant's workers allegedly drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana cigarettes while on a break. 

The plant reportedly manufactures armored parts for U.S. military trucks and planes, including parts for Humvees and Stryker combat vehicles to be sent to Afghanistan and Iraq.

After the station's report, officials from the plant said in a statement that 17 of its employees have been "suspended pending discharge."

"The story reported earlier this week by Fox 2 in Detroit highlighted a very serious issue of unacceptable and reckless employee misconduct that was already under investigation by the company," Derek Fiebig, an official from the plant, said in a statement.

"Working as expeditiously as possible within the bounds of the legal union contract, seventeen employees have been suspended pending discharge. In addition, we are working with the union to ensure that workers will no longer be allowed to leave the premises during the work day," Fiebig said.  

"These actions supplement the existing rigorous drug screening and background checks used by Tower to hire 150 new employees since acquiring this business," he added.

An illegal-immigrant student in Texas who committed suicide the day after Thanksgiving left letters saying he felt trapped by his lack of opportunities and, according to his family, he “decided to sacrifice himself for the cause.”

High school senior Joaquin Luna, 18, dressed in a suit, kissed family members, went into the bathroom and shot himself, according to his brother, Diyer Mendoza. In the letters he said he had lost hope in the chances for the Dream Act, which is legislation that would have legalized illegal-immigrant students and young adults but which was blocked in Congress last year.

“He was actually doing this for the cause, mainly the Dream Act,” Mr. Mendoza said. “He was doing this to show politicians, to show that something had to be done because there are a lot of kids out there in the same situation.”

Kuwait's cabinet has resigned after protesters and opposition deputies demanded that the prime minister step down over allegations of corruption, state-run television has reported.
"The prime minister [Sheikh Nasser Mohammad al-Ahmad Al-Sabah] has submitted his resignation to the emir," Kuwait TV said, without specifying whether it had been accepted.

Earlier, opposition member Khaled al-Sultan said the cabinets's resignation was accepted amid a bitter political dispute between the prime minister and opposition MPs.

"We are waiting for the appointment of a new prime minister before parliament is dissolved in order to be assured of fair elections," the Sultan told reporters outside parliament.

Store clerk shoots an armed robber twice

Mark Headstrong had never fired a gun before. But, when a robber pointed a pistol at him, the Wilmington, North Carolina, convenience store clerk acted fast and shot his assailant twice. 


Surveillance video captures the moment Mr Headstrong pulled out his weapon and fired, dropping 30-year-old Joseph Ryan Anderson to the floor with bullet wounds to his leg and his finger. 


But Mr Headstrong's boss, store owner Musa Agil said his employee should have shot the robber dead: 'He should have killed him and this guy was soft on him.' 

He was trying to give him a second chance. Thugs like those should not ever be given a chance, because if that man shot Mark, he's not going to look at him and give him a chance. That's why Mark made a terrible mistake by letting him go,' Mr Agil told WWAY news in Wilmington.
