What's odd about this is that it's really old news being sensationalized and recycled for nefarious political purposes.

The shooting happened, it was investigated, and no charges were warranted, because the physical evidence and eyewitness testimony verified it was clearly a case of self defense.

Yes, there is more to the story, and what is now being revealed, bit by bit, is that Trayvon Martin wasn't so innocent after all.

As for the issue of racial prejudice and polarization, Michael King, Jr. (his actual name) said he dreamed of the day when his children would be judged, not for the color of their skin, but for the content of their character.

Well, I reckon those folks finally got what they wanted, for the content of their character is now being repeatedly broadcast to the whole wide world.

What is REALLY wrong is for our federal government to be interfering in a local issue.

The local authorities have already thoroughly investigated this case and made their determination.

That SHOULD be the end of it.

As for the agitators and rabble rousers, in some of those cases, they're in violation of the law, and they should be arrested and prosecuted.

Are they getting a free pass because of the color of their skin?

Well, then, cancel their free pass because of the content of their character.

There's a lot more I can say on this subject, having grown up in a segregated community in North Carolina as the so-called "Civil"(?) Rights Movement was going on, and racial integration was being forced on us at the point of a bayonet by our own government.

At the time, being a typical dreamy and idealistic youth, anxious to make the world a better place, I thought racial integration was a great idea, for after all, aren't all men brothers, and aren't all races the same?

But, after all these years, and after all the violations of our Constitution, with its destruction of our lost republic and the negation of our unalienable rights, I see that in attempting to correct one perceived injustice, we committed a far greater wrong, one which probably can't be rectified without massive bloodshed.

No, it's obvious that, although all men may be brothers, all races are NOT the same, nor are all value systems of equal worth.

Further, I've come to the conclusion that racial prejudice is a natural survival instinct given to us at birth by our Almighty God, which is reinforced by years of personal observation and harsh experience.

In my Constitution Classes I teach that we have four tools on our tool belt for taking back America.  Those tools were provided by the Founding Fathers through the instruction booklet for taking back this nation, the United States Constitution.

As we enter Constitution crisis after Constitution crisis with this very dangerous Obama administration, it can be easy to lose sight of the truth.  I am an optimist, and it is never too late to turn around a system like ours. . . if we are willing to do what it takes to get it back.  It won’t be easy, and it won’t be quick, but it can be done.

Anybody watching the news could see the majority of all of them were the new mexican enrichers, not "poor downtrodden disaffected blacks." These guys who were operating leaf blowers for the wealthy the day before were taking advantage of the chaos to show their true colors and were running rampant as animals once they knew the law was not going to show up. They were systematically stripping every single retailer to the west shoreline of anything bigger than a thumbtack - and they were doing it brazenly right in front of television cameras hovering overhead off helicopters.

When we were driving home, we saw all kinds of bizarre things that were totally out of place. Like right in the median strip, some businessman sitting on his briefcase with blood all over his pants and a tourniquet. A bunch of black guys surrounding some young couple who looked like tourists literally ripping the woman's clothes off one piece at a time.

WTNH) -- An eye-opening state police internal memorandum obtained by News 8 challenges state troopers in one barracks to out-perform their trooper colleagues by writing hundreds of tickets on Friday.
The memo, distributed at Troop I in Bethany and obtained exclusively by News 8, basically lays down the gauntlet and any driver on a state highway is fair game.

You were had..  All for some pizza and bragging rights.

The email, from Lt. Anthony Schirillo, challenges troopers to write 350 tickets or more during a 24 hour window starting at 12:01 a.m. Friday. The shift with the most tickets gets pizza, another message said.

In 1946 the political corruption in McGinn County Tennessee was staggering.  A sheriff, a state senator and their followers had stormed the local post office, taking the locked voters ballot boxes as residents attempted to hold an election free from fraud.  What happened next is history.  Local veterans banded together and laid seige to the county jail where the sheriff and senator and various deputies had taken the ballot boxes to prevent any outcome that did not put them back in office.  In the gun battle that followed, the veterans were victorious.  It may be instances like this that cause Homeland Security to fear our returning veterans, labeling them [possible domestic terrorists]. Paranoia will do that to you.  Imagine fighting in those wars of aggression and then coming home and being treated suspiciously by the same government that sent you to war.

This is a 13 minute trailer on the “made for TV” movie, but it is inspiring in its content.  It just might help some of us understand why the 2nd Amendment is so vital to our survival.  It was the veterans who fought back against the corruption in Tennessee in 1946.

Yesterday around 1330 there was a 2x2 flight in combat spread of F-16's go overhead at about 500 AGL.  Low enough to see that they carried wing tanks & TER's with Mk82's.  Don't know if they were dummies or HE's.

Overflights of my house by B-52's used to be a normal thing, but that was 10 years ago as they used the Lake Livingston Dam as a way point & target.  Last month after the long hiatus, the B-52's returned.
