Center, Tx Couple "Kinda" Win Lawsuit for Wrongful Search by Police

Stupid shits couldn't find their asses with both hands tied behind their backs.

via KTRE

Center Police and an estranged couple have reached a settlement agreement in a lawsuit over a wrongful search.

According to federal court records, an agreement was reached in a mediation on July 19.
Marilyn and Stephen Fields sued 11 members of Center Police following a January raid on what ended up being at the wrong home during a service of a search warrant.

According to a complaint filed in federal court by Nacogdoches attorney Curtis Stuckey, Detectives Ricky King, Stephen Stroud, John Welch and Joey Haley, Sgt. Scott Burkhalter, Officers Chris Knowlton, Jeremy Konderla, Steven Thornburgh and David Haley and two unknown Center Police employees raided the home, located on County Road 2231 in Center on Jan. 7.

I really love this part.

The complaint said the police actually went to the wrong mobile home and would have been at the correct one, had they followed directions on the search warrant.

But in the end they caved for the $$$

"Nobody admitted to liability," said the defendants' attorney, Bob Alderman. "The parties agreed to compromise the suit."

Where is Frankenstein????

This little law didn't seem to faze the local tyrants.  Laws are merely for the peasants.

The Virginia Right to Farm Act prohibits local authorities from treating agricultural activity as a "nuisance"
So enter Frankenstein and the angry mob.

Farmers in Fauquier County are planning to bring their pitchforks to an Aug. 2 hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals to protest the arbitrary treatment of one of their own. On April 30, Zoning Administrator Kimberley Johnson sent Martha Boneta an official cease-and-desist notice for selling farm products and hosting a birthday party for her best friend's 10-year-old daughter on her 70-acre Paris, Va., farm without a special administrative permit.

US meat producers seek ethanol waiver

Don't hold your breath....

The US livestock and poultry industry urged federal regulators to suspend a government mandate for ethanol use for the first time as a severe drought lifts the price of corn feed.

A coalition of beef, pork, chicken and dairy producers said the US Renewable Fuel Standard – which requires billions of gallons of corn-based ethanol to be blended with motor fuel – should be waived “in whole or in substantial part” for 12 months.

The waiver request comes as drought covers nearly all the US corn-growing area and has driven corn prices above $8 a bushel for the first time. Ethanol production and animal feed are the two top uses of the US corn crop, putting refiners and livestock companies in competition for scarce stocks.

“The extraordinary and disastrous circumstances created for livestock and poultry producers by the ongoing drought in the heart of our grain growing regions requires that all relevant measures of relief be explored and taken where possible,” the coalition said in a formal petition to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Let's get ready to RRRRUMBLLLLLLEE

Looks like things are going to get pushed into high gear.

DHS has ordered the below items on a 15 day delivery schedule and 1 day to submit a proposal.  In .gov contracting world, that means that those items are critical in nature for the mission.

As the brief explains, “the objective of this effort is to procure riot gear to prepare for the 2012 Democratic and Republican National Conventions, the 2013 Presidential Inauguration and other future similar activities.”
- “147 riot helmets” with “adjustable tactical face shield with liquid seal”
- “147 sets of upper body and shoulder protection”
- “152 sets of thigh and groin protection”
- “147 hard-shell shin guards” with “substantial protection from flying debris, non-ballistic weapons, and blows to the leg” and “optimized protective design for severe riot control or tactical situations.”
- “156 forearm protectors”
- “147 pairs of tactical gloves”

The US Army has decided to enter the fray and stock up on riot gear too.

It’s more than just stockpiling surveillance drones to spy on US citizens: the United States Army is attempting to procure an arsenal of riot gear in case the military must go toe-to-toe with civilians on US soil.

Imagine being woke in the middle of sleeping with a phone call like this.

"Your driver was shot in your truck," said the caller, a business colleague. "Your truck was loaded with marijuana. He was shot eight times while sitting in the cab. Do you know anything about your driver hauling marijuana?"
"What did you say?" Patty recalled asking. "Could you please repeat that?"

The DEA seems to think that they can use private property at their convenience, with out the consent of the owner.  Nor do they believe that if something goes wrong, that they have to compensate the owner if that property is damaged.

Commandeered by one of his drivers, who was secretly working with federal agents, the truck had been hauling marijuana from the border as part of an undercover operation. And without Patty's knowledge, the Drug Enforcement Administration was paying his driver, Lawrence Chapa, to use the truck to bust traffickers.

The only humor in this story is that it was such a cluster fuck that that a LEO shot another one.

In the confusion of the attack in northwest Harris County, compounded by officers in the operation not all knowing each other, a Houston policeman shot and wounded a Harris County sheriff's deputy.

But as we know...He didn't build that business.  So why is he crying?

"How am I — a small businessman, father of three, American Joe from Texas — supposed to make a claim against a federal agency that has conveniently shrouded itself behind a red, white and blue cloak of confidentiality and secrecy?"

So under the cloak of the colors, the .gov agencies are creating many Angry Americans.  But that's all they are is angry.

They will be angry sitting there in their lazy boy chair,  TXTing their friends and watching Desperate Housewives.

Nothing will change.

Arms Trade Treaty Negotiations Collapse as USA Refuses to Sign

I do not if this is true or not.  It is the only post I have found stating that the US did not sign.

via CCRBKBA
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms today applauds the decision by the United States to not sign the proposed International Arms Trade Treaty, and CCRKBA credits grassroots action for the gun rights victory.

CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, who is at the United Nations in New York, said the announcement came Friday morning after a week of intense negotiations.

Resistor in the Rockies: Hi-Capacity Magazine Ban Sneak Attempt

Like your 'High Capacity Magazines' for your firearms?

So do I.

So this should piss you off!

They (and you know who I'm talking about) are trying to sneak in a High Capacity Magazine Ban into the Cybersecurity Bill.

Here is the language:

SA 2575. Mr. LAUTENBERG (for himself, Mrs. BOXER, Mr. REED, Mr. MENENDEZ, Mrs. GILLIBRAND, Mr. SCHUMER, and Mrs. FEINSTEIN) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 3414, to enhance the security and resiliency of the cyber and communications infrastructure of the United States; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

At the appropriate place, insert the following

SEC. __. PROHIBITION ON TRANSFER OR POSSESSION OF LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICES.

(a) Definition.–Section 921(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by inserting after paragraph (29) the following:

“(30) The term `large capacity ammunition feeding device’–

“(A) means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition; but

“(B) does not include an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.”.

(b) Prohibitions.–Section 922 of such title is amended by inserting after subsection (u) the following:

“(v)(1)(A)(i) Except as provided in clause (ii), it shall be unlawful for a person to transfer or possess a large capacity ammunition feeding device. “

‘‘(ii) Clause (i) shall not apply to the possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device otherwise lawfully possessed within the United States on or before the date of the enactment of this subsection.

‘‘(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to import or bring into the United States a large capacity ammunition feeding device.

‘‘(2) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to—

‘‘(A) a manufacture for, transfer to, or possession by the United States or a department or agency of the United States or a State or a department, agency, or political subdivision of a State, or a transfer to or possession by a law enforcement officer employed by such an entity for purposes of law enforcement (whether on or off duty);

‘‘(B) a transfer to a licensee under title I of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 for purposes of establishing and maintaining an on-site physical protection system and security organization required by Federal law, or possession by an employee or contractor of such a licensee on-site for such purposes or offsite for purposes of licensee-authorized training or transportation of nuclear materials;

‘‘(C) the possession, by an individual who is retired from service with a law enforcement agency and is not otherwise prohibited from receiving ammunition, of a large capacity ammunition feeding device transferred to the individual by the agency upon that retirement; or

‘‘(D) a manufacture, transfer, or possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device by a licensed manufacturer or licensed importer for the purposes of testing or experimentation authorized by the Attorney General.’’

(c) PENALTIES.—Section 924(a) of such title is amended by adding at the end the following:

‘‘(8) Whoever knowingly violates section 922(v) shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.’’

(d) IDENTIFICATION MARKINGS.—Section 923(i) of such title is amended by adding at the end the following: ‘‘A large capacity ammunition feeding device manufactured after the date of the enactment of this sentence shall be identified by a serial number that clearly shows that the device was manufactured after such date of enactment, and such other identification as the Attorney General may by regulation prescribe.’’
Call your Senators first thing in the morning and DEMAND that they not support this back deal sneak attack on your 2nd Amendment Rights!

The storm is coming.

With so many Africans in Greece …

This Olympiad was kicked off the Greek team for the below comment.  I thought it was quite humorous from this hottie.

via Yahoo
Greek triple jumper Voula Papachristou was banished from the Olympic Games on Wednesday after making racist comments and expressing right-wing sentiments on Twitter.

“With so many Africans in Greece … at least the West Nile mosquitos will eat homemade food!!!,”
And the horror when she made a comment about the immigration problem in Greece.
She also reposted a comment from controversial Greek politician Ilias Kasidiaris, who has strongly criticized his government’s “soft” immigration policy.

But then she folded.  To bad.
“I would like to express my heartfelt apologies for the unfortunate and tasteless joke I published on my personal Twitter account,” she said. “I am very sorry and ashamed for the negative responses I triggered, since I never wanted to offend anyone, or to encroach human rights.”

That's the problem now days.  People speak what they think and feel, but then crawfish to fit in.

I say fuck em'.

If they don't like what I have to say, don't listen to me.

If I offend you in any way.

To damn bad.

It's a 1st Amendment thing.

If you don't like that.

Then leave my country for some other place.

Where???

I don't care as long as it's not America.

US Military Reveals Coup Plan To Topple Obama

Found this over at HardTimePrepardness blog.

This comes to the EU Times.  As the tempo get faster will you be able to keep up????
A shocking Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (MTC) report red-lined to President Putin this morning warns that “various elements” within the US Military establishment are “actively planning” for the overthrow of President Barack Obama prior to the November elections.

According to this report, Russian Naval Infantry Forces commanders participating in Rim of the Pacific-2012 (RIMPAC) international naval war games off Hawaii (the world’s largest multi-national maritime exercise) this week were told by their US counterparts aboard the USS Port Royal (CG-73) that Obama had to be overthrown as he posed the most dangerous threat to the United States since the founding of their nation.

Little Hidden Gems

I was picking up some goat feed at Tractor Supply about 3 months ago.  As I was browsing the little bins while waiting in line, I found this little hidden gem for $10

The blade is 3 3/4" long with a overall length of 8 3/4".  The point I like the most of this workhorse is that the blade from butt until about 1 1/2" from the tip it is a full 1/4" thick.

The finger grooves provide more that enough purchase to really crank on it and not worry about your hand losing hold.

The knife is butt heavy, but easily utilized.  I have used it pretty heavy for the past 3 months and have not had to resharpen it since I put a razor edge on it when I bought it.

There is no name on it.  There are no markings as to the steel used for the blade.

It is a simple and stout  workhorse.  This fall I will see how well it skins deer & pigs.

The Washington Trials

David lays out why we must hold the American equivalent of the Nuremberg trials.

American excellence must be restored with Sacred honor, courage and justice. We have three options ahead of us:

1. We can let the people responsible for the destruction of our country go free in an effort to start fresh.
2. We can engage in vigilante justice.
3. We can put them on trial.

Option number 1 is the easy way out. But then I remember Pastor Bonhoeffer’s words:
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.

Those that have been found guilty must pay a dear price.

Now let us examine Huma’s mother’s history and activities. Dr. Saleha Mahmood Abedin has been identified in Saudi Arabia as one of the founding members of the Muslim Sisterhood, a Muslim Brotherhood women’s group. This is the same group that half of Egypt was too scared to vote for and that was criminalized for many decades in Egypt for its subversiveness and terror activities.  Dr. Abedin is no ordinary Muslim woman, but an activist who supports Sharia law. She is also a long-time chairperson of the “International Islamic Committee for Woman and Child” (IICWC). Now let us examine what that group is doing in Egypt today and why many Egyptians are afraid of its activities and are strongly denouncing it.

Local woman uses gun to stop worker from installing smart meter

Stand strong.

"He just kept pushing me away," the 55-year-old Taormina, who is licensed to carry a weapon, said. "He saw it, and went back the other way."
The smart meters digitally count kilowatts and wirelessly transmit information.
"Our constitution allows us not to have that kind of intrusion on our personal privacy," she said. "They’ll be able to tell if you are running your computer, air conditioner, whatever it is."

"I am very upset with it," her husband said.

The Public Utilities Commission is now considering allowing homeowners to have the smart meters removed.

These smart meters run about $600 a pop.  Just in Houston, Centerpoint has installed about 2M of them.

"We are deeply troubled by anyone who would pull a gun on another person performing their job," a CenterPoint spokesperson said. "CenterPoint will be taking additional steps – including court actions – because what happened is dangerous, illegal and unwarranted."

I wonder what their board of directors would say if they started taking heavy losses of these meters?

Hell I work for a electric company and I don't want one.   These meters can controlled via SCADA.  That means your power can be monitored and shut off remotely.  Also some of the high end models can interface with wireless devices in you home and gather info.

Vendee uniform and quote from a Vendee general

WRSA links to Ann Barnhardt's latest outstanding speech regarding the how the wholesale slaughter of the Vendee by the French revolutionaries and how it mirrors the Marxist way of today.

This presentation covers the almost unknown war and genocide against the people of the Vendee region of France during the proto-Marxist French Revolution. This genocide by the atheist, godless, totalitarian French Revolutionaries against the Church killed 450,000 people, and has served as a the tactical template for Marxist governments

As Ann points out, the people of that time were a more reserved type of citizens and they still turned on their own and massacred them.

With the dregs of society today, this is already occurring on a small scale.  Once they get the wink that they will not be prosecuted for those crimes, it will be wholesale.

Have you prepared yourself for that?  Let alone your family.

Get ready people, when the starting gun goes off, this will be a whole different race.
