Sing Your Song of Zion
Today we had a fill in preacher. He brought a message that opened me up to the core. That message was Psalm 137 which is below.
In it the Jews, while in a land foreign to them, had forgotten their songs, their freedoms and had such had hung up their harps on the willows and given up.
The Preacher said that there must be no retreat from the calling that the Lord has laid on our hearts. That no matter what we must fight to restore the Glory.
No retreat, No surrender.
God knew what I needed to hear today. That message did not fall on deaf ears.
So patriots, again we must take our harps from the willow trees and sing our song.
Let the whores of Babylon shake with fear in their beds.

Texas Prison Rodeo
A post by Brock took me down memory lane this morning.
That led me to remember the Texas Prison Rodeo. This was a full rodeo from calf scramble to bull riding to bronc busting.
This was a big event here in East Texas. Inmates were selected form all the farms in the state and sent here to compete. They actually represented the Warden. There were no escape attempts during the rodeos.
The prion to the north of the arena is the Walls Unit. This is where death row was, until it was moved to Polunsky Unit, and is still where the executions take place.
My wife remembers going there and watching the prisoners compete to get a $100 bill tied to the horns of a bull. They would trek there as a whole family. All the aunts, uncles cousins, etc. The entire arena stadium would be packed. They always had big concerts during it as well, big names. She remembers one year Mickey Gilly did a concert.
The prion raised all the livestock for the rodeo. TDCJ still has a large active horse program. They raise & train the horses used in the field.
The Agribusiness Department maintains a horse herd in excess of 1,600 head. With the exception of approximately 120 head of stock horses, the balance is devoted for security purposes. Security horses are used by Correctional Officers for the outside work squads and canine program. A 120 head broodmare herd is kept at the Goree Unit for breeding purposes.
Nothing like some youthful nostalgia. Thanks again Brock.

In order to save money, some corporations will repackage older food into new packaging and resell it. One public school lunch supplier tried this with moldy apple sauce re-canned and was reprimanded to never try that “stunt” again.
The FDA allowed food producers like Basic Food Flavors, Inc (BFF) to recondition their recalled items in 2010 by heat-treating their products to remove salmonella. BFF then reprocessed the food and distributed them for sale to the public.
The FDA justifies this unsafe practice by stating that it reduces water and saves money. Yet this occurs at the expense of public safety and health.
You might also be getting extra protein
Basically, if making the food safe is too difficult, the FDA does not bother enforcing their safety policies.
Here are a few examples of allowable contaminants:
• In 8 ounces of macaroni there could be 225 insect fragments or 4.5 rodent hairs
• In 3.5 oz of canned mushrooms 20 or more maggots is ok
• In canned cranberry sauce there could be an average of 15% mold
The FDA finds these levels acceptable because there would be too much stress on food producers to adhere to a more stringent policy for food safety.

Calls for us to mix and mingle in OWS and similar steps are too little, too late. Calls for us to engage in Secret Squirrel machinations are a stain upon the noble goal of Restoration of the Constitution, as ratified.
We need to short circuit the process in a way that declares who we are, what we intend, and conveys our absolute commitment. We need to stand up and be counted.
We will have Liberty or we will embrace Death.

It seems the Sower family, who owns the South Mountain Creamery in Middletown, Maryland, is being prosecuted by the Department of Justice under the post-9/11 “Bank Secrecy Act”. The act makes it illegal to deposit less than $10,000 if you have deposits totaling more than that. Never mind the fact that it’s your money, the feds can literally freeze and seize your account if you don’t deposit your money in accordance with the federal governments new rules.
