The FedGov Disease

Daily dose of CopDom

Again...why not knock on the door like civilized person?

I know; they have to justify all the goodies they get from the ulcerated, fat, nasty vagina of Janet Napolitano
that this shit falls out of.

But just like AIDS, there is no cure until the source is eradicated

She felt the crunching of bones' Estranged wife of sheriff mauled by police K-9 as she slept in her bed

The dog was in the house after police K-9 units arrived at her Bakersfield home on Easter Sunday to serve a search warrant after her son was arrested on drug charges earlier in the day

Police claim that they announced themselves as they entered the house but that Mrs Youngblood did not respond.

Her attorney, Daniel Rodriguez said that is because she was sleeping in her bedroom as the dog searched the house.

Portland Cop Indicted In Mistaken Live Ammo Shooting

Reister, a fifteen year veteran, mistakenly loaded live ammo in his orange, less-lethal designated shotgun before going on duty. Live ammo shells used by the Portland PD are red or blue. The less lethal stuff is yellow. Tough to confuse if you’re paying attention at all.

ARANSAS PASS, TX-Police Beat Man for No Headlight on Bike

When will the train of abuses stop??????????

All for not having a headlight on his bicycle.  And the dashcam just happened to malfunction.  What a coincidence.

Attorneys Say Local Police Officer Severely Beat Unarmed Man

News video

It's news no one wants to hear; a family member is in the hospital on life support unable to speak and even worse there are few answers about how it all happened.

That's exactly what one Aransas Pass family says they are going through.
Martin Garcia Ortiz is in critical condition after an incident allegedly involving Aransas Pass police back on August 10th.

The family and their attorneys say they believe a rogue police officer may be to blame for Ortiz's severe injuries.

"We want to find out what happened to my uncle. We want him to hurry up and talk to see what he can tell us," said Victoria Hernandez, Ortiz's niece.

48-year-old Martin Garcia Ortiz is a life long Aransas Pass resident, though for the past few weeks he's been at Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi.

On August 10th, Ortiz's family says he was riding his bicycle home and just a few blocks away something happened to put him in critical condition.

Just before midnight, the family's attorneys say they believe police tried stopping Ortiz for not having a headlight on his bike. Then, the situation took a dramatic turn when one officers allegedly knocked Ortiz to the ground.

"Either with his vehicle or with his person pushed him over on his bicycle. He fell over to the street," said Stephen Carriganan, attorney for the family.

Attorneys say Ortiz was knocked from his bike along Cleveland Street. The allegations are only more shocking from there.

They say, they believe when Ortiz was already on the ground bleeding the officer got out and punched or kicked him causing even more injuries.

We contacted Aransas Pass police department for comment but our calls weren't returned.
It's not clear if the officers involved received disciplinary action, but it appears they're still on duty in the city.
Police are charging Ortiz with public intoxication and resisting arrest.

The family's attorneys report the police department has told them the dash-cam video from the police unit was- for some reason- unable to record the incident.

Attorneys also say the department hasn't given them a complete copy of the incident report.
"I can find very little justification. If what we believe is true; if they pushed or ran this guy of the road, whatever they did with their car or their persons. I'd be very surprised if there is any justification for that in a report," said Chris Gayle, an attorney for the family.

Now, the family and attorneys say they are faced with a lot of unanswered questions about exactly what went on that night, but they're hopeful they will find the truth.

"You will always get the answer. It may take a little bit of time. Right now, we're troubled by what we think the answer is. Maybe we're wrong, but I don't think we are," Gayle said.
Ortiz's family is pulling together and praying for his recovery. They're also praying for answers on how a possible run-in with police just blocks from home could put Ortiz in the hospital unable to speak or breathe on his own.

"It just breaks our heart. My dad and his brothers are just worried if he's going to be the same, but I know he's not going to be the same like he used to," Hernandez said.

The family says they have been contacted by the Texas Ranger who are investigating the incident.
They're asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and contact the Rangers at [512] 424-2160.

Cops Confiscate Lakewood Lady’s Arsenal; Motive Pending

In the great state of Ohio...

13 various firearms....CHECK
Snitching neighbors....CHECK
Corrupt cops.....CHECK

More infringement
Her cache somehow caught the attention of Lakewood Police, who paid a visit last September. When they found Rice wasn’t home, they asked an obliging employee of the complex to open up the apartment without her consent. Once inside, they raided the gun rack, making off with 13 firearms worth around $15,000. The only problem: They had no apparent reason to.
When Rice kindly asked to have her toys returned, the cops acknowledged that the weapons were legally owned. But they refused to return them without a court order. And so Rice has filed suit in Lakewood Municipal Court.

Nothing to See....Move Along

Supposedly for "stolen" US property.

LAS VEGAS -- The U.S. Air Force led a rare raid against a Las Vegas gun shop Friday afternoon. Investigators removed pieces of evidence and took several people into custody.

"These guys were in full get-up, automatic weapons," said Bahama Mamas manager Joe Gold.
Armored SWAT tanks, officers carrying machine guns, K-9s, the FBI, ATF, and the U.S. Air Force made a grand entrance at the business park on Dean Martin Drive near Flamingo Road.

Heavy on action and light on information, investigators remained tight-lipped about the warrants served at the Citadel Gun and Safe store and an unoccupied building behind it.

HPD vet suspended for beating of ex-UH star

A Houston police officer has been placed on 20-day suspension for striking a former University of Houston basketball star in the head with a nightstick, causing a concussion.

But wait...There's more (extra S&H)

Abusive history claimed

Green also cursed at Young and threatened to kill him, McKamie said.

The lawsuit claims that Green has "a history of citizen abuse."

Green also has been sued by a man he shot and wounded during a traffic stop in southeast Houston.
An HPD news release at the time said Green had stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 5200 block of Pederson at 11:05 p.m. Feb. 24, 2010. The officer approached the vehicle and asked the driver, Steven Sevan Guidry, several times to get out, police said.

Guidry refused, police said, and as Green tried to take him into custody, the two men struggled.
"During the struggle, the suspect reached into his waistband as if to get a weapon," the HPD news release stated. "Fearing for his safety, Officer Green discharged his duty weapon at least once and struck the suspect."
No weapon was ever found on Guidry, who says Green never gave him any instructions before the officer pulled him out by his jacket, threw him to the ground and shot him in the back of his neck.
I'll let you make up your own minds on this one...

Police Chief Jim McDonnell has confirmed that detaining photographers for taking pictures “with no apparent esthetic value” is within Long Beach Police Department policy.
McDonnell spoke for a follow-up story on a June 30 incident in which Sander Roscoe Wolff, a Long Beach resident and regular contributor to Long Beach Post, was detained by Officer Asif Kahn for taking pictures of a North Long Beach refinery.

Here's his rap sheet

So, when will the detaining turn into shooting?

Police officer shot dead after pointing stun gun at man's dogs as he attended domestic

A police officer killed while responding to a domestic disturbance in a small eastern Pennsylvania borough had pointed a stun gun at two dogs before being shot, court records reveal.
Freemansburg police officer Robert Lasso had pointed at the attacking dogs when the homeowner pulled out a shotgun and fired the fatal blast on Thursday evening.
In police custody, the alleged gunman, 46-year-old George Hitcho Jr, said he had told Mr Lasso to get off his property and not come on unless he had a warrant, authorities said.
