My five acres is tucked up against the tree line, as you can see plenty of space to camp and meet. I have purchased the first 100 pounds of meet for the BBQ, I will be hitting Sam’s Club today to look for more specials on meat.
I am going to raffle off a Mosin Nagant with ammo, to help pay for the event, the Nagant has never been fired, all serial numbers match and it is still packed in the factory grease from seventy years ago, this is a sweet gun.
Overall attendance is still unknown, I do know we will have at least 30 folks on Saturday the 14th, there are some out of towners that will be arriving on the 12th and 13th. If you are planning on attending our small PATRIOT Gathering this month, could you kindly send me an e-mail with confirmation here: bashingwilliam@aol.com
Happy New Year Brother's & Sister's
Some wise words I read this morning.
Proverbs Ch 3 (NKJV)
21 My son, let them not depart from your eyes—
Keep sound wisdom and discretion;
22 So they will be life to your soul
And grace to your neck.
23 Then you will walk safely in your way,
And your foot will not stumble.
24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
25 Do not be afraid of sudden terror,
Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;
26 For the LORD will be your confidence,
And will keep your foot from being caught.

Is Newt a Modern Day Sherman?

Pro Liberate has a post up on the diatribe that Newt & the others are spewing against Paul and the conservatives..
While the post is a good read, below is the $$$ quote. Grigg is talking about a 1912 study done by Dr. Paul Haworth.
It details how the reconstruction period was a campaign by the militant leaders in Washington and the corporate elitist of the North to destroy the leaders of the South. Almost what Newt is spewing. Don't you think?
via Pro Liberate
The objective that inspired Reconstruction was not a vision of civic equality, but rather a desire to destroy the troublesome Southern aristocracy, which was seen as an impediment to the designs of the Northern corporatist elite.
“I was satisfied, and have been all the time, that the problem of war consists in the awful fact that the present class of men who rule the South must be killed outright rather than in the conquest of territory,” wrote General Sherman to his wife (in a letter quoted in Victor Davis Hanson’s book The Soul of Battle). In what Hanson approvingly called Sherman’s war of “terror” against the South, the General warned that those who refused to display a properly submissive posture would be “crushed like flies on a wheel.”
Just like in yesteryear, most of the politicians that run for POTUS come from the yankee blue blood families of corporate elitist.
So as we roll on into the 2012 election cycle, the vicious wheel of history is rolling behind us gaining speed.
No matter what the words coming out, the actions will be the same.
Just like the1860's
Tower of Babel on Stone Tablet
Remember the post I had called Indian Scribblings? Well I stumbled across this at England's Mail Online site.
via Mail Online
A carving of the Tower of Babel has been found on a stone tablet dating back over 2,500 years.
It comes from the newly published book Cuneiform Royal Inscriptions And Related Texts In The Schøyen Collection. The collection is owned by Norwegian businessman Martin Schøyen, who has amassed over 13,000 ancient manuscripts and tablets.
Professor Andrew George writes that this drawing is one of ‘the stars in the firmament of the book’. The depiction of Nebuchadnezzar is one of only four in the world.more after the jump
Cheap Whore
I see Romney is a real cheap whore.
Is he $100 a night...nope
$10 a night......nope
A $1 a night...Guess again
He's FREE, read the fine print.
The Web site for GOP primary contender Mitt Romney is seeking donations with a drawing: Donate $1 or more to his presidential campaign and you will get a chance to spend election night in New Hampshire with the former Massachusetts governor.
You have to read the small print at the bottom of the page, however, to get the details on the “deal,” including the obligatory legal requirement that individuals can be entered for a chance to win without making a donation. You are required to enter a donation amount, even if it is “0” to be in the lottery.
Abortion Doctors Charged With Murder
About time.
Lets see who will defend them.
Any guess's.....Holder's DoJ erkoff's
via CNS
Two out-of-state doctors who traveled to Maryland to perform late-term abortions have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of murder under the state's viable fetus law, authorities said.
The investigation began in August 2010 after a botched procedure at Brigham's Elkton clinic. An 18-year-old woman who was 21 weeks pregnant had her uterus ruptured and her bowel injured, and rather than call 911, Brigham and Riley drove her to a nearby hospital, where both were uncooperative and Brigham refused to give his name, authorities said.
A search of the clinic after the botched abortion revealed a freezer with 35 late-term fetuses inside, including one believed to have been aborted at 36 weeks, authorities said.
Rectal-Cranial Disease & the Left
Do you understand???
They will not change.
They are like cockroaches.
Act accordingly.
Elizabeth Warren’s Quote
There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You built a factory out there—good for you!
But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire someone to protect against this, because of the work the rest of us did. Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea—God bless. Keep a big hunk of it.
But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.
UPDATED: WordPress Takes Down “Bare Naked Islam” Blog
UPDATE 12/30/11

How many more have we not heard about?????????

I just stopped over at Bare Naked Islam's site and to my delight, found the blog up and running on Wordpress.
Here's the headline that greeted me there:
Bare Naked Islam is back……sort ofSo what the hell is that? Well, I'll tell you what - I did some digging on Wordpress after this charade was announced since I was a bit more than pissed off and I found that Wordpress is run by a collection of misfits with a corporate name of Automattic - I researched them a little and found their headquarters is in ....wait for it....San Francisco, California. Whoa, there's a big surprise.
WordPress now saying that CAIR had nothing to do with their decision to take down my blog (despite CAIR bragging about it all over the internet). But they still want me off by Jan. 6th.
The operators of Automattic reads like a Who's Who of tree hugging Leftist Occupying computer geek granola nerds.
Hopefully, we'll find out more of what really happened - if Wordpress is saying that CAIR had nothing to do with it then why was CAIR announcing this to the world before ANYONE knew? Come on Automattic...if they pulled your chain and you caved then at least admit it.
Wordpress isn't off the hook on this. Automattic isn't off the hook on this. And most certainly, CAIR is not off the hook on this.
How many more have we not heard about?????????

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced today that an anti-Muslim Internet hate site that contained a number of threats of violence targeting mosques, including the comment “I want [Muslim] blood on my hands,” has been taken down by its hosting company.
CAIR said visitors to “Bare Naked Islam,” hosted by WordPress.com, now see the message: “barenakedislam.wordpress.com is no longer available. This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.”
Last month, CAIR called on the FBI to investigate the threats of violence targeting mosques posted on the blog and urged WordPress.com to remove it for violating the hosting company’s terms of service (TOS), which prohibit blogs that “contain threats or incite violence towards individuals or entities.” Articles and comments posted on “Bare Naked Islam” urged attacks on and desecration of American and European mosques.
TSA Got Everything It Wanted For Christmas
via Slashdot
"It looks like Congress' recent jabs at TSA were just posturing after all. Last Friday, President Obama signed a spending act passed by both houses of Congress. The act gives TSA a $7.85 billion budget increase for 2012 and includes funding for 12 additional multi-modal Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) teams and 140 new behavior detection officers. It even includes funding for 250 shiny new body scanners, which was originally cut from the funding bill last May."

It's when a ruler of a country and his entourage embark on a journey that will bankrupt the nation. What follows is a rebellion that does away with the emperor.

U.S. special operations team was seen crossing the border from Brownsville, Texas into Matamoros, Mexico. Eyewitness reports mention that the U.S. convoy consisted of two or perhaps three SUV’s with what appeared to be armed military personnel on board.
The Mexican military waited on the Matamoros side of the border, and once the U.S. team crossed into Mexico, they escorted them to a nearby military base. The Mexican military and the local police in Matamoros apparently established a route to escort the Americans because traffic cops were placed ahead of time in order to quickly get the convoy through Avenida Sexta (Sixth Avenue).
A helicopter followed the convoy from the U.S. side of the border until it reached the Mexican military base. A video showing the convoy in Matamoros was broadcasted by Univision.

After a disastrous holiday shopping season, the parent company of Sears and Kmart will close at least 100 stores to raise cash — a move that sparked speculation about whether the 125-year-old retailer can avoid a death spiral fed by declining sales and deteriorating stores.
Sears Holdings Corp., a pillar of American retailing that famously began with a mail-order catalog in the 1880s, declared Tuesday that it would no longer prop up "marginally performing" locations. The company pledged to refocus its efforts on stores that make money.
Sears' stock quickly plunged, dropping 27 percent.

Last year 14,000 state employees left their jobs. That's a mighty big reduction on budget terms. The article didn't say how many positions were filled again.

From a never ending line that snakes out of the Department of Motor Vehicles to a steady stream of children walking into Protective Services, state workers have their hands full in Texas.
Michelle is a state worker. "The job of working for the state is very strenuous at this time. We're overworked, our hours are double what they're supposed to be and our office equipment is not at the standard it's suppose to be at."
Michelle, who did not want her identity revealed, says she is one of those state workers who is part of a mass exodus. They no longer find their jobs attractive while working for the state government.
"The state jobs used to be stability but it's not because we are not forward thinkers we are not innonvators we don't have the ability to keep up with the time as far as pay," says Michelle.
And that is exactly what an audit indicates that examines Texas state employee turnover in 2011.It shows for the first time since 2008 that Texas has seen the largest number of employees voluntarily leaving what was considered safe jobs; almost 14,000 people. Why?
The report shows state workers no longer see their jobs as stable because of budget cuts, a lack of merit raises, low pay, and the potential loss or reduced retirement benefits.

I saw somewhere that the Vatican added hurting the environment to the list of the seven deadly sins.
The current list:
Lust
Gruttony (does bacon count?)
Greed
Sloth (three toed or the other kind?)
Wrath
Envy (but it's the XDM .45 in green and stainless)
Pride
Well, with all due respect to the church, if they can add "damaging the environment" to the list, I'm going to add a few of my own.

They sure looked like cops.
The five men who barged through the door of a townhouse Monday wore Houston police raid jackets and carried Tasers and pistols. They cuffed the homeowner with a plastic tie, then kicked him in the stomach and started ransacking the place.
Even a police officer who rushed to the scene after a neighbor called for help momentarily thought the criminals were legitimate law enforcement officers working with a tactical squad. Only after they started running did he realize the impersonators were burglars.
D.C. area: Attacks on officers ‘disturbing trend’
There is a reason for this....
It's called CopDom and folks are getting tired of it.
via WT
Police in the D.C. area have recorded an uptick in the number of fatal police-involved shootings this year, as authorities say officers increasingly are coming under attack. If it's a trend, what's the common denominator??????
“One of the things we’re seeing more of is instead of people running from police they are turning and attacking police,” Kristopher Baumann, chairman of MPD’s Fraternal Order of Police union said. “It’s a disturbing trend. We’ve had two officers shot this year.”
The PoPo, thier training & their "I can do what I want" mentality.

Things went swimmingly until 2009 … when the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms conducted a routine inspection of RJF and discovered 10 guns registered to the company could not be accounted for … a big, BIG problem. We’re told the feds pinned the blame on William and Stephanie — and were looking to take serious action that could have resulted in the end of RJF.
But law enforcement sources tell us … the Hayden’s struck a deal with feds in 2010, in which the two agreed to surrender their gun-making licenses … and in exchange, they could appoint a LICENSED person to take over the company. It didn’t take long for William and Stephanie to pick their successor … they went with Vincent Buckles… — another gunsmith often featured on the reality show.
Buckles has evidently left the business, too, and now the Hayden’s have dug up another FFL holder to be the licensed firearms dealer for Red Jacket.
